We are so thrilled to announce our new spring release for Posh Chalk Deluxe Decoupage papers. This announcement is even more special because the wonderful Jonathon Marc Mendes has curated a range of stunning images for the House of Mendes – Jonathon Marc Mendes collection included in this release!

Jonathon joined SollyJo in the studio live to show off the new collection. You get to see the collection up close and personal and watch as both Jonathon and SollyJo get creative. Check out the video.

House of Mendes – Jonathan Marc Mendes

Jonathon burst onto the furniture painting scene in 2017 when he was Annie Sloan’s Painter in Residence, since then he has fast become a beloved part of the upcycling community. Jonathon lives in the beautiful English countryside with his cat and husband. He loves sharing his passion for art by teaching workshops both online and occasionally in person . You have to agree he is so very talented and has even hand painted and photographed a few of these designs in his collection. Let’s take a look at them.

You do not need many supplies to get started using Posh Chalk decoupage papers. Maybe you have something already painted that could just do with a beautiful piece of art applied to it?  So jump in and feel the joy of creating something beautiful with a little help from Posh Chalk Decoupage papers.

• Posh Chalk Infusor as adhesive and topcoat
• Some water and small artist brush ( wet the design with the brush to tear )
• Posh Chalk premium brush 

Decoupaged furniture

Instant art! Adding decoupage papers to your furniture gives it instant drama. SollyJo and Jonathon finished these 2 pieces on the live launch with Dark Mollis on this display cabinet and Tuscan Rosa on the chair. We think you’ll agree they both turned out so pretty.

Hand Painted Decoupage Papers

A lot of thought, care, and love has gone into this collection from both Jonathon and SollyJo. They are particularly proud of the hand painted papers they both created and it shows both of their many talents. Although they have just been released we can tell they are a hit already. We really think it adds a little personal touch to our Spring collection. The 4 hand painted designs from Jonathon are Utopia Grand, Utopia, The Puffin, Rebecca’s View.

SollyJo’s hand painted designs are very different in style and very pop art! We just love the colours of these 2 fabulous decoupage papers. SollyJo loves nothing more on her down time than picking up her paint brushes and creating art. The best thing about the Posh Chalk decoupage papers is that they work so well with the other products in the range! The colours were co-ordinated to be able to use the Posh Chalk pastes to blend out the edges of our designs! How clever is that?
